Following a DPhil in Old Testament at Oxford with Professor Sue Gillingham, I spent two years at the University of Wales, Lampeter as a Biblical Studies lecturer, before moving to King’s College London as Lecturer in Old Testament Studies for 12 years. I returned to Oxford in 2010, where I remain.
