Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion

The Ian Ramsey Centre is associated with the Faculty for Theology and Religion and conducts research into religious beliefs and theological concepts in relation to the sciences. You will find a wealth of material on their website, including videos of public lectures, seminars, and presentations, and more on their YouTube channel.

BBC Radio 4

Radio 4 produces a number of programmes which may be of interest to current and prospective students of Theology and Religion. Most programmes are available on the BBC Sounds app. Episodes are archived as podcasts and you can browse programmes in categories such as ‘Religion’ and ‘Philosophy’.

Very Short Introductions are paperbacks published by Oxford University Press, which offer concise introductions to a diverse range of subject areas including Theology, Religion and Philosophy. The series is intended to offer “a bridge between reference content and higher academic work” and are written by experts in the field. You can browse titles on the website by category. These include some by our own Faculty members.

JSTOR

JSTOR is a not-for-profit organisation committed to helping the academic community use digital technologies. Some of its searchable content is Open Access; academic ebooks and journals that are available to everyone, everywhere.
