About:

My research focuses on the implications of embodied cognition for the study of theology. Specifically, I look at questions of human identity and personhood pulling from embodied cognition as both a cognitive science and philosophy of mind to question traditional lines between subjectivity, emotion, and reason. In this questioning, I examine the implications for a more holistic view of the human person based on the breakdown of these dichotomies and what this means for theological methodology in the modern world as well as knowledge and knowledge acquisition more generally.
