About:
I received my Master degree from Bar-Ilan University in Philosophy. My Master thesis was on the pessimistic philosophy of the Italian poet and thinker Giacomo Leopardi and the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. My DPhil research, set within the field of Modern Jewish philosophy, focuses on the interconnections between philosophy and Modern Jewish Thought. It proposes to examine the philosophy of Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook (1865-1935), within the contextual framework of the Lebensphilosophie movement and the philosophy of some of its major exponents: Friedrich Nietzsche, Georg Simmel, and Henri Bergson.
