Biography:
Lucy Gardner studied theology at Oxford and Bonn Universities, and is the Tutor in Christian Doctrine at St Stephen’s House in Oxford. Her areas of research and interest have included the theology of F.D.E. Schleiermacher, Hans Urs von Balthasar, and Feminist Theology. Since 2010, she has been a regular member of the Building Bridges Seminars (originally convened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, now a project fostered by Georgetown University) bringing Christian and Muslim scholars together for shared conversations on various theological topics.
