Yasmin Jaffri is interested in the interaction between religious themes and political ideas across multiple settings in South Asia particularly in Pakistan.

Her work was fully funded through UKRI/Scatcherd, with a Covid Scholarship Extension through UKRI/Oxford. Further pandemic related delay was covered by Wolfson College, the Faculty of Theology and Religion, and munificent awards from the University of Oxford.
